How to transform my own vocal into someone else's voice?
First, it should be noted that ACE Studio uses SVS (Singing Voice Synthesis) technology, which is different from the commonly used SVC/RVC technology in AI voice conversion. The latter can be simply understood as a powerful voice changer—input one voice and directly transform it into another. In contrast, ACE Studio's SVS technology synthesizes a singing voice using MIDI and lyrics.
Therefore, to use ACE Studio to transform your vocal into another person's singing voice, an intermediate step is required—converting your vocal into MIDI and lyrics.
ACE Studio's Acappella Convert feature can conveniently accomplish this step:
Step One: Import an audio file or record audio. (*Please note, if your audio includes accompaniment, you need to use the [Split into Stems] feature to separate the vocals from the accompaniment. Use the separated vocals for the next step of conversion.)
Step Two: Select the corresponding audio, click [Vocal to MIDI Lyrics], confirm the language, and click [Convert], then wait for the audio conversion to complete.
-
Step Three: After the conversion is complete, drag in the AI singer and click play. You will hear the version sung by the specified AI singer.
Compared to using SVC/RVC for timbre conversion, the biggest advantage of ACE Studio is its editability—you can easily modify the MIDI and lyrics, change the pitch, and even adjust the BPM to meet your different vocal needs.
